(NASCAR Style)
It was a weekend that was a little out of the ordinary due to the fact that the Pocono track was resurfaced and fast as ever and Joey Logano visited a victory lane that had eluded him for 3 years. Let's see what the talk around the track was!
It's cool to see your name on the side of the highway
-@joeylogano (Joey Logano) on Pocono Raceway congratulating him on his win by posting his name on their electronic sign for all of the fans to see as they left the track
Leaving early morning for the Pocono 1000. Stage 1 is this afternoon, final stage Sunday. lots of driving
-@landoncassill (Landon Cassill) on the drivers having to spend two extra days at the track for testing on the newly repaved surface. That proceeded the normal race weekend for the drivers
A few laps around Pocono from inside the 48 via my iPhone. #Enjoy http://twitvid.com/QABLX
-@JimmieJohnson (Jimmie Johnson) taking an in car video during testing at Pocono. This video is awesome, take a look at it and make sure to crank up your volume so you can truly hear how loud these cars get
Guess I spoke too soon. Bummer for Dixon but glad he's ok.
-@JeffGordonWeb (Jeff Gordon) after he predicted that Scott Dixon would win Saturday night's IndyCar race at Texas, but then crashed within the final fifty laps
feel bad for @scottdixon9 after dominating all night.
-@jpmontoya (Juan Pablo Montoya) reiterating Gordon's feelings on the IndyCar race
That sucked didnt even get to race. Now were stuck in the track in more traffic. Get me the hell outa here
-@MartinTruexJr56 (Martin Truex Jr.) on his crappy day where the side of his car was shredded off on the first lap. Pair that with the fact that he couldn't get out of the track due to the awful traffic and that equals a bad, bad day
Sore but ok. Thanks to everyone at Penske for building safe racecars.
-@AJDinger (A.J. Allmendinger) after his hard hit in turn 2 at Pocono when he blew out a right front tire and went straight into the wall. Allmendinger had to get out of his car and hunch over to catch his breath after the wreck
I'm so proud of my team for putting me in a position to challenge for that win. We were so close. Maybe next week.
-@MarkMartin55 (Mark Martin) after finishing second to Joey Logano at Pocono. Martin lead until three laps left when Logano moved him out of the way
5 days at 1 track = too many.. 0 =number of things that went right for us... 1/2 the field speeding in same zone=problem
-@KevinHarvick (Kevin Harvick) A frustrated Harvick airing out his feelings on the extra testing sessions the drivers had to participate in, his tough day during the race, and the fact that so many drivers were caught speeding on pit road during the race (22, a new NASCAR record for drivers caught speeding)
I'm embarrassed we finished 19th with a car that good! Whenever we catch a break and put ourselves in position we'll b in victory circle.
-@JeffGordonWeb (Jeff Gordon) The same old story for Gordon this year, except this time instead of bad luck it was crew chief and driver that caused this bad finish when Gordon has a car capable of winning
Damn auto correct. I'm turning that shit off
-@DavidStremme (David Stremme) sharing a feeling I believe most people feel when it comes to typing on their phones
Check in next week after the drivers turn 400 miles at the MIchigan International Speedway!
