Welcome to Runnin' The High Line, a NASCAR oriented blog site!
My name is Adam Huth and I'm hoping to use this blog to help provide my view of the NASCAR world to any other fans out there or for people just interested in learning more about this awesome and underrated sport! I plan on using this blog to post opinion articles, race recaps, fantasy NASCAR advice, power rankings and even Twitter quotes of the week from all of the drivers. Though this site will focus mostly on Sprint Cup news, I will try to touch on the Nationwide and Camping World series as best as I can (though due to my TV provider, I don't have Speed Channel to watch the truck races, stupid DirecTV).
A little bit about myself, I am currently doing my undergraduate studies at Indiana University - Bloomington and majoring in Sport Communication - Broadcasting. I have been a fan of the sport of NASCAR since I was six years old when my dad took me to my first Brickyard 400. I have attended nine races in my life (4 Indy, 3 Michigan, 1 New Hampshire, and 1 Martinsville) and rarely since I was 10 have I missed watching any race. Aside from NASCAR, I am an avid fan of the Colts (yeah, I know, Peyton, Luck, blah, blah, blah), Pacers, Arsenal FC in England (soccer is the most beautiful game!), Ottawa Senators, and of course a fan of all IU sports!
I'm looking forward to writing on this blog and hope that you guys out there find this at least somewhat interesting! And I don't know about you, but the 2012 NASCAR season can't get here fast enough!
It's going to be a great day when we hear those famous Darrell Waltrip words again, "Boogity, boogity, boogity! Let's go racing boys!"
