These commercials have been airing since the 2005 Super Bowl now, and while they were fun and edgy at first, they have now become all too predictable.
Danica wears something revealing, Danica says something provocative, Danica says go to the website to see more.
Meanwhile the men featured in the commercial are drooling over her. Don't get me wrong, she's easy on the eyes, but c'mon guys! Its the same game every year.
This year's version was no different as we see Danica and fellow GoDaddy girl Jillian Michaels painting GoDaddy ads all over a woman's body, only to realize that they "missed some spots" and implying that you visit the website to see what they missed.
Same song, different verse once again.
Out of curiosity, I went to the GoDaddy site to find out what more there was to see. Turns out, they just lure you there to advertise GoDaddy to you even more. Go figure. I realize that sex still sells these days, but if they want Danica to continue to sell for GoDaddy, they've got to change their formula or else boredom could negate the effectiveness of their ads. And that sounds crazy to say, but it's the truth.
So as the 2012 NASCAR season approaches and excitement builds around Danica's first full time foray into the sport, I'm just as eager as the next guy to see how well she'll perform. Just please keep those crappy GoDaddy commercials out of NASCAR, Danica, and I'll be pulling for you even more.
