Twitter Tuesday (NASCAR Style) Nov. 12

Twitter
Tuesdays
(NASCAR Style)

Wow. What more needs to be said after that weekend at Phoenix? We had championship contenders crash out in all three touring series, numerous wrecks, and the now all too infamous Jeff Gordon retaliation on Clint Bowyer at the end of the Sprint Cup race. Truth be told, there were so many interesting and important tweets from this weekend that I won't be able to fit them all, so I'll try to show the most note worthy and appropriate ones concerning the events of the weekend. Sit back and enjoy because this is as raw as Twitter has got in NASCAR this season.

So wonderful and exciting to hear  say I was going to be in both  Super Bowl spots! How lucky am I?!!!
- (Danica Patrick) who will once again continue to appear in GoDaddy.com's Super Bowl ads in the 2013 version of the game. Patrick has appeared in 10 Super Bowl ads to date, more than anyone else ever.

Uncle John gave us some legendary advice tonight. "Don't argue with pigs. You both get muddy and the pigs end up having all the fun"
- (Landon Cassill) Dually noted.

Note to self: Its better luck for owner to not b at track when someone else driving truck. Martinsville and Phoenix
- (Kyle Busch) who's Trucks have won the last two races in that series with Denny Hamlin at Martinsville and Brian Scott at Phoenix. Evidently, Kyle should also never go to those races anymore.

Man came close tonight! Finished a strong 2nd. Had fun racing with. Good job. We'll try and get one next week at homestead
- (Kyle Larson, Truck Series driver) who nearly won in his third Truck Series start. The 20-year-old, who won the K&N East Series championship last weekend, has scored top-10's in each of his first three Truck starts.

M-I-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e
- (Joey Logano) donning some unique headwear after winning his 9th Nationwide race of the season at Phoenix.

This. Is. Epic.
- (Parker Kligerman, Truck Series driver) on the Sprint Cup race once all hell broke loose after Jimmie Johnson crashed and Gordon and Bowyer had their moment.

Ah does anyone need a junk yard? There is now one at phoenix international raceway! Holy crap
- (A.J. Allmendinger) after there was a massive crash coming out of the final turn on the last lap due to oil laid down by Danica Patrick's car after she was wrecked and hit the wall the lap prior.

Omg Burton and Jeff are like the last two people out there to pull that Gangster Stuff!! So cool to see those guys lay it down!!
- (Scott Speed) with a hilarious statement on (Jeff) Burton and Jeff (Gordon) and their respective wrecks (Burton spun Danica). Both drivers are veterans and no one thought they'd do what they did on Sunday.

When I was young I thought  was the best driver. Now I've lost a lot of respect for him.
- (Joey Logano) and his new opinion on Gordon after he got caught up in Gordon and Bowyer's mess.

I'll say the same thing I told  & media. Reached my limit, tired of getting run into by 15. Sorry to the other guys involved.
- (Jeff Gordon) who apologized to Logano and Aric Almirola who got involved in the mess, but still wouldn't apologize to Bowyer who Gordon has had enough with and subsequently wrecked him intentionally.

Very sorry about interview with the R word. I was so focused on not saying the F or the A word...I don't even know what I said!!!
- (Clint Bowyer) apologizing for saying "retards" in his post race interview following his altercation with Gordon.

Yep that just happen!! We win!!
- (Kevin Harvick) who got to smile the biggest after all of the mayhem, breaking his 44 race winless streak and winning at Phoenix.

has won way too many races and championships to tarnish his career. Everyone in garage respects him.
- (Michael McDowell) with a good reason on why Gordon will be alright after losing his cool and wrecking Bowyer at the end of the race.

To say I "WRECKED" her cause she's a girl is freaking stupid. She has as much right to be there as anyone.
- (Jeff Burton) responding to apparent criticism he got after accidentally wrecking Danica with two laps remaining in the race.

This isn't over
- (Jimmie Johnson) after he crashed at Phoenix and fell 20 points behind leader Brad Keselowski heading into the final race. Johnson was attempting to win his 6th championship, but he'll now have to overcome a major deficit.

This Pic says it all, 2 cars left in the shop, 1 race to focus on.
- (Brad Keselowski) All that needs to be said be the points leader going into the last race.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them your a mile away and have their shoes
- (Ryan Truex, Nationwide driver) helping end this tense and crazy edition of Twitter Tuesday on a lighter note.
