Twitter Tuesday (NASCAR Style) Oct. 30

Twitter
Tuesdays
(NASCAR Style)

Classic Martinsville racing was abound all weekend with as much bumping and banging anyone could ask for on the old half-mile short track. All of this week's Twitter Tuesday wrap-up is focused on the race weekend itself, but there are a couple of deviations from the drivers away from the race itself. So let's see what all the fuss is about this week!

Reminded tonight why the lions almost never play Monday night football...
- (Brad Keselowski) on his favorite NFL team's poor performance not only on Monday Night Football, but also throughout this season so far.

So excited to be joining  Going to be a great year!
- (Regan Smith) on his full-time Nationwide Series ride that he'll have next season with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s team. Smith replaced Earnhardt for two races while he sat out with a concussion and he impressed, leading to receiving this ride.

Check out the rifle I got from  for the win.
- (Clint Bowyer) and his classy looking rifle that he got just for winning the race at Richmond last month.

Really happy to be back with  for nine races next year. Its truly been an incredible experience.
- (Brian Vickers) on agreeing to drive the No. 55 car in nine races next year for Michael Waltrip Racing. Vickers has impressed greatly in the eight races he drove for the team this year.

Not sure what it is about  that brings out the tattoos? All I can say is wow!
- (Jeff Gordon) posing with a fan who has two tattoos of Gordon's car on his back, they look crazy good!

Result after P2 at martinsville! Great race!!!
- (Nelson Piquet Jr., Truck Series driver) showing what his truck looked like after the race at Martinsville and managing a second place finish. No joke, that's what the cars or trucks typically end up looking like after a race at Martinsville.

Sorry to all my fans. This is a tough one to swallow but we will move on and grow from it. Thank everyone for there support this year.
- (Denny Hamlin) after he said that he was going to conquer the race and gain points on Brad Keselowski, only to have his starter switch malfunction and ending up way back in the field, likely ending his title hopes.

Thanks to HMS for making me look like I kinda can drive at Martinsville. Felt great to get a top 3. Big win for the 48 .
- (Kasey Kahne) being extremely thankful that he finished well at Martinsville, a track he typically does not do well at, as well as congratulating his teammate, Jimmie Johnson, on the win.

I don't think I've ever woke up in Vegas feeling good. Must be bad food they serve you here...
(Clint Bowyer) sure Clint, I think we all know it's the food.....
