Twitter Tuesdays (NASCAR Style) Sept. 18

(NASCAR Style)

The 2012 Chase for the Sprint Cup didn't get off to incredible fashion, but it was a solid race nonetheless. Brad Keselowski beat a dominate Jimmie Johnson at Chicagoland Speedway by edging in front of him after the last pit stop and pulled away. A couple of Chasers ran into some trouble, but most had solid days in general. So let's see what the talk of the last week was by the drivers over Twitter!

In our Hotel rooms for chase guys NASCAR has left us plenty of hangover remedies. What are they trying to say?
-@dennyhamlin (Denny Hamlin) well, I'm not quite sure, you tell me Denny!

I said the #oldschoolstache would return if we made the Chase & I'm a man of my word. Not full yet, but getting there.
-@JeffGordonWeb (Jeff Gordon) showing off his old school 'stache which he promised to bring back if he made the Chase. Gordon had a ridiculous mustache when he was in his early twenties.

True story. These two guys are saying they are sorry for wrecking each other... In 2005! Lol
-@dennyhamlin (Denny Hamlin) on Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth still apologizing to each other after Gordon wrecked Kenseth at Chicagoland in 2005 (photo above).

Don't fall asleep with the #Next9 guys.
-@RyanBlaney22 (Ryan Blaney, Truck Series driver) on Darrell Wallace Jr. pulling a prank on Chase Elliott on their way to a promotion for the next incoming class of NASCAR drivers.

Part of my 2012 end of the season check list is to get my picture taken with @JeffGordonWeb and his mustache
-@landoncassill (Landon Cassill) joking along with Gordon's hilarious mustache.

Kneeling out to end a football game is like watching a race finish under yellow.
-@keselowski (Brad Keselowski) stating a very true statement.

@RyanBlaney22 making me feel old. Great Job tonight. And a shout-out to @keselowski for helping young kids get the seat time.
-@DavidRagan (David Ragan) on 18-year-old Ryan Blaney winning his first Truck Series race at Iowa. Brad Keselowski fields Trucks for Blaney in that series.

This is 1 week of 10. We will win next week.
-@dennyhamlin (Denny Hamlin) who had a strong run going at Chicagoland until he ran out of gas on the final lap and finished a disappointing 16th.

What's up doc
-@joeylogano (Joey Logano) channeling his inner Bugs Bunny.
