The Bristol we once knew is back! It's just moved from the bottom lane to the top lane and the aggression is back to the level it used to be at! There was plenty of reaction from the Bristol festivities so let's see what most of the fuss was about!

They Said It:

To those who saw this pic my eye itched. Guess I chose the wrong finger to itch with but I don't flick people off.
-@kaseykahne (Kasey Kahne) on this funny photo that happened in the post-race press conference at Michigan last week.

God I love Bristol. One of the hardest tracks to get ur car good enough to conquer the beast!!!
-@ClintBowyer (Clint Bowyer) on the difficulties presented on one of NASCAR's toughest tracks to win at.

Our commitment to race trim bit us today. Qualifying rained out & the lineup is based on speeds from the 1st practice... #37th
-@JimmieJohnson (Jimmie Johnson) who had to start 37th a Bristol, far from ideal, because he focused heavily on race set up in practice instead of making a qualifying run. It didn't matter, Johnson still finished second.

Sick.... Dunno how else to say it... We had a great car this weekend! I was definitely feeling a top 20 again! Will only make us stronger!!
-@scottspeed (Scott Speed) who didn't make the race because qualifying was rained out and his team did not have enough points to be locked into the top 43.

I can’t wait till lap 236 tomorrow, the anticipation may cost me some sleep tonight lol… and I also love Tony Stewart’s interviews.
-@Regan_Smith_ (Regan Smith) joking about Tony Stewart's interview in the days before the Bristol race where he predicted everything would get crazy at lap 236, just under halfway through the race.

Why can't shit like tonight happen when your not handling very well? It always happens when your fast... Our @DGRacing car was good...
-@bscottracing (Brian Scott, Nationwide driver) after he was wrecked out while running very well in the Nationwide race, continuing his streak of bad, awful luck this season.

Long night in the 22 @DiscountTire dodge. I made a mistake, should have known who we were racing. We'll go hard tomorrow.
-@keselowski (Brad Keselowski) after he was wrecked in the Nationwide race by Brian Scott, though Scott had nowhere to go and couldn't prevent the wreck.

Starting to get to the point where i want to beat my head against the wall... Had 4 gallons of gas in it & didn't pick it up. Wtf
-@KevinHarvick (Kevin Harvick) after he ran out of gas during the Nationwide race and had no idea why.

Still smiling from last night
-@dennyhamlin (Denny Hamlin) after he won the Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol on Saturday night.
